Internet FAQs/T&Cs (the boring but important bits!)

Deliveries
We currently only deliver within Australia. We offer free delivery for orders valued at over $150. Orders below this value will be charged at a flat fee of $10. You may also choose to collect orders from one of our stores - please let us know when ordering by adding a note under 'additional comments'. Orders can be collected during normal opening hours (see ‘Where We Are’ for current times)

Orders
We aim to despatch orders within 5 working days or will email you to let you know if there will be a longer wait. Should you prefer not to wait we will offer a full refund.

Returns
We offer a refund through paypal for items purchased through our on-line store provided they are returned unused in their original condition and, where applicable, in their original packaging. Items must be mailed back within 14 days of receipt to 152 Argyle Street, Fitzroy 3065. Cost of returning the goods to us will need to be paid by the purchaser and we suggest you use registered mail to ensure the goods reach us safely. In store purchases are subject to different conditions - see in store for details.  Please note, on-line purchases cannot be returned or refunded through either of our stores.

Selecting hand made goods
At southwood our focus is on natural materials and hand made, individual items. These products will, by their nature, vary and we feel this is part of the beauty of these items.

In the case of some of our ranges the designs can vary from item to item and we have highlighted these in the web-store. An example of this would be Cloth cushions. If you would prefer to see the current selection of available designs before we despatch your order please contact office@southwoodhome.com.au and we will send photos for you to select from.

Furniture
Our furniture can only be ordered through our North Fitzroy or Fitzroy store.  We recommend that you check availability and lead time with our staff prior to ordering.  Our beds, mattresses and tables are all delivered through an external delivery service.  We will quote delivery cost at the time of ordering.  Furniture items are only available for delivery within Metropolitan Melbourne.

Security
We aim to keep our site secure and therefore use Paypal to process all payments made to us. If you would prefer to order over the phone please call 03 9077 5474 during business hours. We do NOT store any credit card data on our site.

Intellectual property
Many of the items we stock are designed and made by small local makers or exclusively for southwood. We do not therefore allow the use of any images from our site unless by prior arrangement. For further details please contact office@southwoodhome.com.au
