There’s a common misconception about dark colours – ‘they will make the space feel dark’. When in actual fact, it is the lack of contrast and good lighting that will make a space feel dull. For example; a space that is all whites with poor lighting will completely wash out. It needs darker and lighter objects to create a light reference.
K house is a perfect example of making a statement with a monochrome contrasting palette and utilising light to full capacity. We love how the design lets the outside in like framed living artworks, matched by playful relaxed styling.
